Betty Lehman, National Professional Indemnity and Compliance Officer and Secretary of Australian Property Institute Valuers Limited (APIV), has announced her resignation from the Australian Property Institute (API).
Ms Lehman has managed the API’s capped liability scheme since 2011 and grown its activities in the best interests of API members.
API National Director Clyde Eastaugh said Ms Lehman left behind a legacy of decisive action, strong advocacy and an insurance scheme, which was the envy of many professional organisations.
Ms Lehman will be attending the API’s AGM in Canberra at the end of May.
Mr Eastaugh said the API had begun the recruitment process to secure a replacement for Ms Lehman.
