Jopbac, provider of software to the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) construction industry for more than 25 years, has been acquired by Viewpoint Construction Software.
The acquisition, which occurred earlier this month, hopes to create a market-leading organisation, combining Jobpac’s trusted team of construction software professionals with Viewpoint’s advanced product portfolio, according to a media release.
The merger is expected to be one of many during a shift toward digital disruption in the property sector, with enhanced resources for customer service, support and new product development.
The combined organisation will be led by former Jobpac CEO, Ian Desbrow, who will now become Viewpoint’s managing director in ANZ. Viewpoint will maintain its Melbourne facility but relocate its ANZ headquarters to the Jobpac offices in Sydney.
“Through strategic growth and development, Viewpoint has been very successful in serving the needs of construction organisations across the globe,” said Jay Haladay, CEO of Viewpoint.
“The combination of Viewpoint’s strong technical platforms, coupled with Jobpac’s deep construction expertise and market presence, allows Viewpoint to expand and deepen its commitment to the Australian and New Zealand markets.”
