A current Risk Management Certificate is compulsory for all members currently undertaking Valuations of Australian Property (intellectual, personal, real and leasehold property - including plant and machinery) and all who are seeking membership.
The RMM Essentials Module is the core module and must be taken to gain the certificate; other modules can then be taken in line with the Members’ area of expertise.
Those who do not hold a current RMM Certificate, or hold one that is due to expire this year, are required to complete the necessary Risk Management Modules. The date of completion is marked on the RMM Certificate which is valid for three years
There are a number of modules available for completion and will be offered as face-to-face sessions or online. Modules for the 2015 RMM are:
- RMM Essentials
- RMM Volume Residential
- RMM Commercial, Specialised and Determination Work
- RMM Government
- RMM Plant & Machinery
Further information on the sessions will be advertised during 2015 on the API website. Please check your state or territory’s Events Calendar for dates.
